The streets behind the sand are full of street-food stalls, massage shops and night markets, so the area appeals to travellers who want the beach, shopping and evening entertainment close at hand.

Jungceylon Shopping Center is 200 m from the hotel, and Bangla Road, the street known for its bars and nightlife, is 500 m away. Further afield, Chaithararam Temple, better known as Wat Chalong, and the Big Buddha are among the island's best-known landmarks, while Karon Beach, 3.9 km away, is another stretch of sand with a different atmosphere. Phuket International Airport is 24.4 km away, and an airport transfer is available.

A good day starts with a swim in the outdoor pool, followed by a massage at the hotel and an evening walk to the Banzaan Fresh Market (Night), a short walk from the hotel. For a daytime outing, Wat Chalong and the Big Buddha are worth a separate trip by road.
