Phuket International Airport is 24.7 km away by road. A good day could start with a swim at Patong Beach, continue to Wat Chalong, one of the most revered temples on the island, and finish with a Muay Thai session at one of the local gyms. Freedom Beach and Kata Beach offer other stretches of sand for a day by the sea.
