Phra Chom Klao train station is the closest rail stop, and the Suvarnabhumi Bus Terminal is also in the area for onward journeys. The Hua Takhe Old Market is nearby too, one of several local markets in the district.

For the sights of the old city, the Grand Palace and Wat Arun are the classic stops, and the Chatuchak Weekend Market is one of Bangkok's best-known markets, though all three are a long way from the hotel. A good day out could start with the local markets nearby in the morning, then continue with a longer journey into the city in the afternoon, and the hotel is the place to return to in the evening.
