It is a different setting from the old city, with more everyday neighbourhood life than sightseeing, and the train station is close by.

Central Park Rama II, a public park 500 m away, is the nearest green space, and Bang Bon train station is 800 m from the property. Further out, Asiatique The Riverfront, a riverside shopping and dining complex on the Chao Phraya, is 8.9 km away. The Grand Palace and Wat Arun are both in the old city, 11.7 km and 10.9 km away, with Wat Arun on the Chao Phraya. Reaching these sights usually means a taxi, as the old city is a long drive from the property.

A full day could start with a walk around Central Park Rama II, then a taxi to Wat Arun and the Grand Palace, and dinner at Asiatique on the riverside in the evening. The Greenday Night Market is nearby for an evening walk, too.
