Papaya Stay

The rooms at Papaya Stay are air-conditioned, and both have a balcony. The Queen Room with Balcony has one double bed, and the King Room with Balcony has one queen bed; each sleeps up to two guests.

Both also have a private bathroom with a shower, toiletries and towels, a flat-screen TV, a dining table, a microwave and an electric kettle, along with a hair dryer and heating.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and Wi-Fi also covers the public areas. The property is smoke-free, with non-smoking rooms, and the air conditioning runs in the public areas as well as the rooms.

The hotel provides car hire, and free parking is available on site. Reception staff speak English and Thai, and the rooms have a flat-screen TV. Rooms can also have a desk, a closet, a hair dryer, a microwave and an electric kettle.

Extra beds depend on the room chosen, and the property is managed by a private host. It does not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties. The rooms also come with towels, linens and toiletries.

Papaya Stay is on Kanjanavanich Road, in the market area of Hat Yai, a large city in southern Thailand. The city is a major transport and trade centre in the south, and the streets around the hotel reflect that, with shops, markets and street food stalls close at hand. The neighbourhood is easy to explore on foot for visitors who prefer walking to driving, and the bus station is a short walk away.

Central Festival, a large shopping centre, is 150 m away, and the Asean Night Bazaar, an evening market with food and shopping stalls, is 450 m away. The Magic Eye 3D Museum, with its 3D art exhibits, is a short walk from the hotel too. Hat Yai Municipal Park, a public park with green space for a stroll, is also nearby. Hat Yai Railway Station is 2.3 km away, and Hat Yai International Airport is 11.7 km away.

For a day out, Wat Hat Yai Nai is a Buddhist temple in the town, and the Namtok Ton Nga Chang waterfall, further out, makes a longer excursion. Back in the market area, the evening bazaar is a short walk from the hotel, and a stroll through its stalls ends the day well.
