It is a good fit for those who prefer a quieter stretch of coast, with the beach close by and the busier nightlife of Patong further on, where the streets fill up in the evening and the restaurants and bars stay open late into the night, drawing crowds from all over the island.

The beach is about 730 m from the apartment, and Laem Sing Beach, close to Ban Bang Thao village, is 1.3 km away. Bang Tao Night Market, 1.8 km away, is a good place for an evening meal from local stalls. Phuket FantaSea, at 2.4 km, is a cultural theme park with an evening show.

A day could begin on the beach and end with the show at FantaSea, or continue to Patong Beach, 8 km away, for its beach strip and nightlife. Wat Chalong, one of the island's best-known temples, and the large Big Buddha statue are further afield, so they are best planned as a separate outing from the coast, one for a different day.
