Palmetto Park Residence offers apartments and double rooms, including a two-bedroom apartment of 68 m² for up to five guests, a one-bedroom apartment of 42 m² and several double apartments and rooms, some with river or courtyard views.

The Big Buddha, a large hilltop statue, is 1.6 km away, and Chaithararam Temple, also called Wat Chalong, is 4.1 km away and is one of the most revered temples on the island. Patong Beach is 5.7 km away, a busy resort beach where Bangla Road is the main nightlife street.

A day could start at the Big Buddha and the temple at Wat Chalong, then move to a swim at Kata or Karon Beach. In the evening, Patong and Bangla Road are reached by taxi or car. A quiet evening on Karon Beach is an alternative to Patong's nightlife, with the hotel a taxi ride away.
