Pailin Hill

The rooms at Pailin Hill come as double, twin and triple layouts, and many measure 20 m². Some rooms overlook the pool, others have mountain views, and a few come with pool access. Depending on the room, you can expect air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with satellite and cable channels, an electric kettle and a refrigerator.

Private bathrooms with a shower, toiletries and towels are provided in several rooms, and some have a coffee and tea maker, a dining table or a balcony or terrace. Bed set-ups range from a single king or queen bed to pairs of single beds.

Patong is the busiest resort town on Phuket, a lively strip of hotels, bars, restaurants and night markets set along a long sandy beach. Pailin Hill sits on Soi Nanai 2, a side street off the main road, so the beach and the nightlife are close by while the quieter parts of the island are a drive away. Street-food stalls and massage shops line many of the roads in the area.

Patong Beach is 1.3 km away and Bangla Road, the street of bars and clubs, is 1.2 km. Freedom Beach, a small and quieter cove, is 3.3 km away, while Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong), one of the island's most revered Buddhist temples, is 5.6 km. The Big Buddha Phuket statue on a hilltop and the Jungceylon Shopping Center are also nearby, and Phuket International Airport is 25 km away. Taxis and songthaews are the usual way to reach the temples and beaches further out.

A good day could begin with a morning at Wat Chalong, then continue to Freedom Beach for a quieter afternoon and end on Patong Beach with dinner along Bangla Road. Phuket FantaSea, an entertainment complex further from Patong, makes a different kind of evening out. After a day out, the indoor swimming pool at the hotel gives you a place to swim before heading out in the evening.
