Free Wi-Fi covers all the rooms at P29, and every room has wireless internet access. Depending on the room, guests find air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with satellite and cable channels, a private bathroom with a shower and toiletries, a fan, a dining table, and in some rooms a balcony or terrace.

Rooms sleep two or three guests. Several of the rooms have air conditioning and a private bathroom, and executive lounge access comes with some of them.

P29 is in the Nong Khaem district of South Thonburi, on the Thonburi side of the Chao Phraya river, across the water from the old city. The hotel's surroundings are more about local markets, pagodas and parks than about the main tourist streets, so this is a base for seeing a different side of Bangkok. Getting to the old city means crossing the river, which is worth planning into the day.

The closest sight is Wat Lak Sam, a pagoda 450 m from the hotel, and the ChaoSua 69 market is 2.4 km away for everyday shopping. Lak Song MRT station, 5.9 km away, connects the area to the metro network and to central Bangkok. The Grand Palace, 15.7 km away, lies on the other side of the river, while Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn, is 15.2 km away on the same side as the hotel.

A day out could start at the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, Wat Phra Kaew, in the old city, then continue to Khaosan Road, the backpacker street lined with bars, guesthouses and street food. For a shorter outing on this side of the river, Wat Arun is an easy destination, and Wat Lak Sam is close enough to visit on foot.
