P10 Samui

The rooms at P10 Samui are duplex layouts, and several overlook the pool or open onto it. Rooms can have air conditioning, an in-room safe, a seating area, a sofa, a desk, a mini bar and a balcony or terrace. Private bathrooms can come with a shower, bathrobes, a hair dryer and toiletries.

Bedding is a queen, king or double bed, depending on the room. Room service is available for guests who prefer to eat in, and the bar and restaurant are on site.

P10 Samui is in Bophut, the old fishing village on the north coast of Koh Samui, where a small harbour and a row of wooden houses sit close to the water. The beach is a short walk from the hotel, and the area is calmer than the busy beach strips of Chaweng and Lamai, both further from the hotel.

Big Buddha, a large statue on a hill about 1.5 km away, and Wat Plai Laem, a temple with a large Guanyin statue, are two sights to visit. The Fisherman's Village Walking Street, 2.8 km away, is the place to walk in the evening, with its old shophouses, shops and food stalls. Samui Airport is 1.3 km away, and the piers at Bangrak and Lamtaen serve the boats that link Koh Samui with the nearby islands.

A good day could start with a swim at Hat Bang Rak Beach, continue with Big Buddha and Wat Plai Laem, and end with an evening walk through Fisherman's Village. Na Muang Waterfall, 12.1 km away in the hills inland, makes a good excursion for a day away from the coast. In the rainy months the sea can be rougher, which can affect boat trips from the piers.
