The Patong Boxing Stadium, where Thai boxing bouts are held, is close to the hotel, and Wat Suwan Khiriwong, a temple, is nearby. Karon Beach and Kata Beach are further along the coast, and Phuket International Airport is 23.3 km away by road. Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, is one of the most important temples on Phuket and is well worth a visit.

A day could combine the beach with a trip to the Big Buddha, a large white statue on the hills 8.3 km away, and an evening at Phuket FantaSea, a large entertainment park with a cultural show, 6.5 km away. Bangla Road is the place to end the evening, with its bars, clubs and night stalls.
