The closest sights are Wat Khao Tham, a pagoda 1,000 m away, and the Phaeng Noi waterfall, 2.1 km from the home. Haad Baan Tai beach is 2.2 km away, and Diamond Muay Thai, a Muay Thai gym, is 3.3 km away. Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach, one of the island's better-known bays, is 7.6 km away.

Ko Pha-ngan is reached by ferry from the mainland at Surat Thani or from Koh Samui, where the nearest airport, Samui Airport, is across the water, so the last leg of the trip is by boat. Once on the island, a good day can start with a visit to the pagoda, continue with a stop at Haad Baan Tai beach, and end with a session at the Muay Thai gym. Thong Nai Pan Yai is better saved for a longer outing.
