Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong), one of the island's most revered Buddhist temples, is 4.9 km away. Patong Beach, the island's best-known resort beach, is 6.6 km away and is the place for nightlife. Phuket International Airport is 31.6 km away, and airport transfers are available.

A good day could begin on Karon or Kata beach, continue with a visit to Wat Chalong and Big Buddha in the afternoon, and end with an evening at Phuket FantaSea, the cultural theme park with its evening show. Those who prefer a livelier night can head to Patong instead, or to the Karon Night Market for dinner.
