Punnawithi BTS station is 250 m away, and the BTS Sukhumvit line runs from here into the central districts, where Siam Paragon is 10.2 km away and the MBK Center 10.5 km. Further on, The Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew) are 14.3 km away in the old city, and Wat Arun, on the Chao Phraya riverbank, is 14.2 km away.

A day out could start at the Chatuchak Weekend Market, on the north side of the city and open at weekends, or at Asiatique The Riverfront, a riverside shopping and dining complex on the Chao Phraya. The temples and the palace of the old city make a full day of their own, and the river boats along the Chao Phraya are a practical way to move between the riverside sights.
