The Wat Mangkon MRT station is 300 m from the hotel, and the Li Thi Miew temple is 250 m away. Yaowarat Road is a short walk, and the Yaowarat Chinatown Heritage Center, a museum about the Chinese community in Bangkok, is 550 m away. Exploring the lanes on foot is the easiest way to see the area, with the MRT for longer trips across the city.

A good day starts with the Grand Palace, 2.4 km away, where the Temple of the Emerald Buddha stands inside the palace walls. Jim Thompson House, a Thai silk house museum, is also in central Bangkok and makes a quieter stop. Back in Chinatown, the evening food stalls along Yaowarat Road make a natural end to the day, and the MRT gets you back to the hotel quickly.
