OK Bungalow

Rooms at OK Bungalow have a private bathroom with a bathtub and a private entrance. Several rooms have a sea view, and some also have a balcony or terrace. The choice includes a queen room with a balcony, a double room with a sea view, a standard double room with a fan, a family room that sleeps four and a deluxe room with two double beds.

A twin room with two single beds sleeps two guests. Two further rooms sleep up to three guests each. Towels, linens and mosquito nets are provided, along with free bottled water, and the rooms have a socket near the bed.

Free WiFi is available in all rooms, and the public areas also have WiFi. Parking is free at the resort, and several rooms have a sea view along with a private bathroom.

There is a terrace, and snorkelling and scuba diving are available in the surrounding area. The property is smoke-free, and the reception speaks English and Thai.

OK Bungalow sits in the Thian Og Bay area of Ko Tao, a small island in the Gulf of Thailand known for its diving and its many small bays. The island is reached by boat, and the bays here are the main draw for swimmers, snorkellers and divers who want to spend their days on the water, and the sea is never far from the resort.

Snorkel beach is 50 m away and Freedom Beach, a secluded cove popular with snorkellers, is 350 m away. The John-Suwan viewpoint, also 350 m off, looks down over the Chalok and Thian Og bays. Sairee Beach, the main beach on the west coast, is 3 km away, and Koh Nang Yuan, a small island with snorkelling, is 6.3 km out by boat. The nearest airports, Samui and Chumphon, are across the water, so the last part of the journey is by boat.

A good day starts with a swim and snorkelling at Snorkel beach, followed by a walk up to the John-Suwan viewpoint for the view over the bays. Scuba diving is available in the surrounding area, so an afternoon of diving or a boat trip out to Koh Nang Yuan fits the rest of the day.
