Phuket Aquarium and Panwa Beach are each a couple of kilometres off, and Chalong Pier, a ferry terminal, is a little further on.

A day out could start at the waterfall and the Panwa beach, then move on to the temples and the Big Buddha. Phuket International Airport is 34.6 km away, and the island is linked to the mainland by a bridge, so arriving by car is straightforward. Phuket Town, the island's main town, is the place to go for shops and services beyond the local stores.
