Oceanview Bungalows by EAT

All the rooms at Oceanview Bungalows by EAT have air conditioning and a private bathroom, and sizes run from 20 to 35 m². Double beds feature across the range, with a semi double bed in the Superior Room Seaview and a bunk bed alongside a double bed in the Family Room, which sleeps up to four guests.

Sea views feature in several rooms: the Standard Sea View, the Superior Double Sea View and the Superior Room Seaview look out to the sea, and the Partial Sea View Double Room has a partial sea view. The Deluxe Bungalow measures 30 m² and has a double bed, while the Standard Double and the Standard Bungalow also offer a double bed, air conditioning and a television. Some rooms have a balcony or terrace, and a refrigerator and free bottled water are provided in some rooms.

Karon sits between Kata and Patong, so the island's main beaches are all reachable along the coast road, and the bay suits guests who want a beach setting with easy access to the rest of the island.

Oceanview Bungalows by EAT sits on Soi Karon 2, with Karon Beach 200 m away. Kata Beach, 700 m away, is the next sandy bay, and the Kata Open Market is close to it. Further afield, the Big Buddha stands on a hilltop 1.8 km away with wide views over the hills, and Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong), 4.8 km away, is one of the most revered Buddhist temples on Phuket. Patong, the island's best-known resort beach, is 6.2 km away.

A good day out starts with a swim at Karon Beach, then a visit to the Big Buddha and Wat Chalong, before returning to Karon for dinner. Evenings are easy to plan around the beach-side restaurants of Karon and Kata, and Patong offers a livelier contrast with its nightlife and shops.
