O'chai Bungalows

All rooms at O'chai Bungalows measure 30 m² and have a queen bed, a private bathroom with a shower and towels, a mosquito net and a balcony or terrace. Each room sleeps up to two guests, so the rooms suit two people staying together.

The rooms are bungalows and a deluxe double room, all set in the resort grounds. One bungalow has a garden view, and the deluxe double room has a sea view.

Guests at O'chai Bungalows can use a private beach, a garden with pathways and seating, and a bar on the property. Free parking is available, and free Wi-Fi covers all rooms and the public areas.

The resort also offers diving and a laundry service, and it has a terrace. English and Thai are spoken at the resort. The garden is a quiet place to read or relax, and the terrace is part of the shared facilities, with the bar and the private beach close by.

O'chai Bungalows is on Sairee Beach, the main beach strip on Ko Tao, a long stretch of sand lined with dive shops, cafés and bungalows. The resort is about 50 m from the sand, and several dive centres, including Coral Grand Divers, are within 250 m. Along the beach road there are cafés and small shops, and the clinic and cash machines of the area are within a few hundred metres.

The ferry terminal is 1.9 km away, and it is where boats from the mainland dock, so most arrivals pass it on the way in. The monument to King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) is 1.2 km from the resort, and Coconut Viewpoint is 1.4 km away, so the island's sights can be reached without leaving the east side of the resort's area.

A day here can start with a swim off Sairee Beach and continue with a dive trip from one of the centres along the sand, such as roctopus dive center. Mango Bay, Jansom Bay and Shark Bay are further around the island, and Koh Nang Yuan, a small island off the coast, is known for its viewpoint and sandbar. Ko Tao is a diving island, so the dive centres are a natural focus for any day on the water.
