Sukhumvit MRT station is 500 m away and Asok BTS station is a short walk, and from Asok the Skytrain runs to Siam Paragon, 3.5 km away, one of the largest shopping centres in the city. Soi Cowboy, a lively lane of bars and nightlife, is 400 m away, and Chatuchak Weekend Market, 7.4 km away, is a sprawling weekend market with thousands of stalls.

For a full day, start at Chatuchak Weekend Market in the morning and finish the evening with a drink on Soi Cowboy. The Jim Thompson House museum, a collection of Thai silk and art in traditional teak houses, makes a quieter afternoon stop, and Benchasiri Park is a green space for an early walk.
