The Grand Palace is 1.7 km away, and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, Wat Phra Kaew, stands within the palace grounds. Wat Phra Chetuphon, home to a giant reclining Buddha, is 1.9 km away, and Wat Arun, a riverside temple with a tall central spire, is 2.4 km away. For trips further afield, the Sam Yot MRT station is 1.8 km away.
