A good day here could start with a swim at Chaweng Yai Beach in the morning, continue with a visit to Big Buddha in the afternoon, and end at the Night Market. For an afternoon with animals, the Samui Elephant Sanctuary Bophut is also in the area, and the walking street is a pleasant place for an evening stroll. The Night Market has stalls with food and local goods, so it is an easy place to finish the day.
