Phuket International Airport is 32.9 km away, while the minibus station and a bus stop for Phuket are within 400 m, so public transport is close.

A good day could start with a swim at Kata Beach, continue to Kata Noi Beach for a quieter stretch of sand, and end with a visit to the Big Buddha in the afternoon. Patong Beach, 8 km away, is a livelier option for an evening out, with a wider choice of bars and restaurants along its streets.
