Nine Design Place

The rooms at Nine Design Place include a 70 m² suite with a queen bed and a king bed, a 52 m² superior family room with the same beds, and 23 m² rooms with either a double bed or two semi double beds.

Rooms can have air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a private bathroom with a shower, toiletries and towels, a mini bar, a refrigerator and a hair dryer. The 70 m² suite and the 52 m² superior family room both sleep up to four guests.

Front-desk service runs around the clock, with a 24-hour front desk and 24-hour security. The hotel also offers tours, ticket services, luggage storage and daily housekeeping, and English, Japanese and Thai are spoken.

Nine Design Place stands on Soi Kasemsan 3, a side street off Rama1 Road in Pathumwan, in the Siam area of central Bangkok. Pathumwan is a district of large shopping malls, universities and museums, and the Siam area sits on the Skytrain network, so the hotel is well placed for shopping and sightseeing without being on a main road.

Jim Thompson House, a museum in a teak house that was once the home of the American silk entrepreneur who revived Thai silk, is 150 m from the hotel, and the Ban Krua area nearby is known for its silk weaving. National Stadium BTS Station is 300 m away, and Siam Paragon, one of the largest shopping malls in the area, is 850 m. For temples and palaces, The Grand Palace is 3.9 km away and Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn, is 4.2 km across the river.

A good day could start at the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha in the old city, then continue to Wat Arun by river boat, a common way to cross the Chao Phraya. On weekends, Chatuchak Weekend Market is one of the largest markets in Bangkok, reached by Skytrain and subway.
