Depending on the room, you can expect air conditioning, a private bathroom with a shower and toiletries, a TV with satellite and cable channels, a mirror and a refrigerator. Free bottled water and linens are also provided in the rooms, and the bathrooms come with toiletries.

The sea and the outdoors matter more than nightlife in this part of the coast, whether you spend the day on the beach, in the national parks or on a boat trip.

The Royal Thai Navy Third Fleet Turtle Nursery, 2.9 km away, works to protect sea turtles on the coast, and Khao Lak-Lam Ru National Park, 4.5 km away, offers forest trails and waterfalls. Similan National Park, 3.6 km away, is the main draw for divers and snorkellers, with its islands reached by boat from the piers along the coast. Hat Lek beach and the Tsunami Memorial are also close by, and Ton Chong Fa Waterfall is worth a visit as well.

A good day could start with a walk on the beach, then a visit to the turtle nursery and the Tsunami Memorial, followed by a boat trip to the Similan Islands from the pier. Phuket International Airport, the nearest large airport, is 53.5 km away, and Krabi International Airport is further. In the rainy months, sea conditions can be rough and boat trips to the islands may not run, so a flexible plan is useful.
