Ferry piers on the Chao Phraya, including Wat Arun Pier, are also close, so boats along the river are an option too.

A good day here starts at Wat Arun, the temple with a tall prang on the riverbank, 2.2 km away, and continues to The Grand Palace, 2.8 km away, where the Temple of the Emerald Buddha sits inside the palace grounds.
