Siam Paragon is 1.6 km away, and the Jim Thompson House, a traditional Thai house with a museum of Thai silk, is a taxi ride away. Nai Lert Park, a garden nearby, offers some green space in the middle of the district, and the Skytrain makes it easy to reach the rest of central Bangkok from the station.

A good day could start with a walk to Nai Lert Park and a Skytrain ride to Siam for shopping, followed by an afternoon at the Jim Thompson House. For the older side of the city, The Grand Palace is 6.3 km away and reached by taxi, and the Chatuchak Weekend Market, 6 km away, is one of the largest weekend markets in Bangkok.
