Suvarnabhumi Airport lies 24.4 km away.

A good day here starts at the Jim Thompson House, then crosses the river to Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn, and the Grand Palace, 4.9 km from the hotel, which contains the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. Both sights lie on the far bank of the Chao Phraya River. Back in Silom, the evening can be spent at the Patpong night market.
