The Chatuchak Weekend Market is 1.6 km away with Chatuchak Park nearby, while Don Mueang International Airport is 12.5 km away and Suvarnabhumi Airport is 24.6 km. The Grand Palace and Wat Arun are a longer trip south across the city.

A good day here starts in the morning at the weekend market, which is very large, browsing the clothes, crafts and food stalls, then a walk through Chatuchak Park, which is quieter than the market.
