Chatuchak Weekend Market, 3 km away, is one of the largest markets in Bangkok and is busiest at weekends. Siam Paragon, 6.5 km away, is a major shopping centre in the central retail district, and the Grand Palace, 10.1 km away, is the royal complex in the old town, with Wat Arun on the opposite bank of the river.

A good day could begin at Chatuchak Weekend Market, then continue by taxi to the old town for the Grand Palace and Wat Arun, and finish with street-food stalls around Khaosan Road in the evening. Taxis are the simplest way to reach the old town from the property. The day can end on Khaosan Road, a lively street known for its bars and street food in the evening.
