Farang Beach is 350 m away and the village of Haad Farang is closer still, so the sand is reached on foot in a short walk. Emerald Cave, a sea cave on the coast, lies 1.6 km off, while Morakot Beach and Pawapi Beach are further along the shore. Each beach here is close to the next, so the shoreline can be explored in a day. The Ko Muk ferry terminal is the boat link with the mainland.

Snorkelling spots lie close to the coast, so the sea is the main draw for a day out. Visitors who come for the sea often spend the day on the water, and the beaches further out can be reached by boat. Trang Airport is 38.9 km away on the mainland, and the last part of the journey is made by boat.
