Phuket International Airport is 4.9 km away, and you reach the apartment by road from the airport. Most of the island's main sights, such as Patong Beach and the Big Buddha, lie further off, so a car or taxi is useful for longer trips.

A day here can combine a walk along the sand with a visit to the mangrove forest trail at Tha Chat Chai, a walking route through the coastal forest. In the evening, the Ni Yang Night Market offers street food and local goods, and Naiyang National Park, a protected area of forest and coast, lies further along the road.
