Koh Nang Yuan, a small island 2.8 km away, is reached by boat and is one of the island's best-known day trips. Ko Tao has no bridge, so the last part of any journey to the island is by boat, and the beach area is easy to explore on foot.

A good day here starts with a dive or snorkelling trip from one of the schools on Sairee Beach, then a slow afternoon in the resort's garden. Dive operators such as Ban's Diving Resort are a short walk from the rooms, so the schools are close by. For a wider view, the John - Suwan Mountain View Point is 4 km away, and it looks over the island from above.
