The rooms at @Nares Hotel measure from 32 to 64 m², and every room type sleeps up to three guests. Several rooms have a city view, and the rooms with a private bathroom also come with a shower, toiletries and towels.

Bang Rak, the older district next to Silom, is close by, and its merchant houses and temples survive in places, some of them near the river.

Chong Nonsi BTS station and Sam Yan MRT station are both 850 m away, so the skytrain and the subway connect the hotel to much of the city. Jim Thompson House, the teak residence of the American silk entrepreneur, is 2.4 km away, and the Neilson Hays Library, a historic library on Surawong Road, is close by. The two main airports, Don Mueang and Suvarnabhumi, are both reached by road, and Suvarnabhumi is the farther of the two.

A day could start at the Grand Palace, 4.2 km away, with the Temple of the Emerald Buddha in the same complex, then cross the river to Wat Arun, whose tall prang rises above the water. Khaosan Road, the backpacker street with its guesthouses and street-food stalls, is a short way from the temples. On weekends, the Chatuchak Weekend Market, 8.4 km from the hotel, makes a full day out.
