Nare Guest House

Every room at Nare Guest House has air conditioning, a balcony or terrace, and a private bathroom with a shower and an additional toilet. The rooms measure 48 to 60 m² and sleep up to three guests, with a queen bed and a sofa bed in each one. Access to the rooms is by stairs.

The rooms also have a refrigerator, an electric kettle, a coffee and tea maker, toiletries, towels, linens and free bottled water. The queen bed and the sofa bed together cover the three-guest capacity. Air conditioning also covers the public areas, and the guesthouse is run by a private host.

Free WiFi is available in all rooms, and the guesthouse also has internet services and WiFi in its public areas. Free parking is available, and air conditioning covers the public areas as well as the rooms. Luggage storage and private check-in and check-out are offered, and bicycles are available.

Tours can be arranged, and a doctor or nurse is on call. English and Thai are spoken, and the guesthouse has its own terrace alongside the room balconies. The property is smoke-free, and its rooms are non-smoking. Bicycles and tours offer a way to explore beyond the beach, and luggage can be stored at the guesthouse before or after your stay on the island.

Koh Lanta is a large island in the Andaman Sea, part of Krabi province in southern Thailand, and its coast has a string of sandy beaches. Nare Guest House is in the Pra Ae area, with Long Beach, also known as Pra Ae Beach, close by.

The Lanta Sport Complex and the Lanta Muay Thai Academy are both 250 m away, and Fins Swimmers is 300 m away. Relax Bay Beach is close by as well, and Khlong Khong Beach, 1.4 km from the guesthouse, is another beach on the island. Lanta Old Town is 9.7 km away, and Mu Ko Lanta National Park is 15.6 km away, protecting the islands and waters around Koh Lanta.

A day out can combine a swim at Long Beach, a visit to the Muay Thai academy and a trip to the national park. Bicycles are available for getting to the nearer places. From about May to October the sea on this coast can be rough, which may disrupt boat trips to the islands around Koh Lanta. Krabi International Airport is the nearest airport, on the mainland, and the final stretch to the island is by boat, so the ferry is part of the trip from any airport.
