Naracha Minimal Resort

The rooms at Naracha Minimal Resort are designed in a minimalist style, and all of them have free Wi-Fi. They range from a VIP room with a double bed and a semi-double bed for up to three guests to a room of 18 m² for up to two guests, plus a room assigned when you arrive.

The VIP room has individual air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and toiletries, and the 18 m² room is air-conditioned.

The resort has a 24-hour front desk, a shuttle service and a convenience store on site for snacks and essentials, all within the property. Private check-in and check-out are offered as well.

Parking on site is free, and Wi-Fi is free in all rooms, so there is no charge for either. Non-smoking rooms are available for guests who prefer a smoke-free stay.

Rail travellers will find the Nakhonsawan Train Station about 900 m away, and guests arriving by car can use the free parking on site.

Naracha Minimal Resort is in the Nong Pling area of Nakhon Sawan, a provincial capital in central Thailand where the Ping and Nan rivers come together to form the Chao Phraya. The neighbourhood is mainly residential, with local temples nearby, and it is a quiet stop on the road north from Bangkok.

The Nakhonsawan Train Station is about 900 m away, so rail is a practical way to reach the town from other parts of Thailand. Wat Nong Pling, a local temple, is a short distance from the resort, and the viewpoint at the Origin of Chao Phraya river, 5.4 km away, marks the spot where the Ping and Nan rivers meet. Hat Bueng Boraphet, 6.1 km away, is a lakeside beach on the shore of the Bueng Boraphet marsh, a large freshwater wetland.

A good day could start at the riverside Rim Mae Nam Chao Phra Ya market, then continue to the viewpoint where the two rivers meet and finish at the lakeside beach by the marsh. Parking at the resort is free, so exploring the area by car is straightforward. Back at the resort, the convenience store is a handy place to stock up on drinks and snacks before the next day's travel.
