Wisut Kasat Road runs through Ban Phan Thom, in Bangkok's Phra Nakhon district, which is the old royal core of the city. Temples, forts, palaces and museums are packed into this part of town, and many of the best-known sights sit close to one another, so a day here can be spent on foot.
Khaosan Road, the backpacker street with guesthouses, bars and street food stalls, is 950 m away, and the Grand Palace is 2 km.
