Nakornping Hotel

The lanes are narrow, so much of the district is best explored on foot, with taxis for the longer trips across the old town.

Khaosan Road is 700 m away, the best-known street of the district, with bars, guesthouses and street stalls. The Grand Palace is 1.9 km away and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew) is 1.7 km away, and Wat Arun, the temple on the river with its tall prang, is 2.6 km from the hotel. Norrarat Market, a local market, is close by, and the Sam Yot MRT station is also nearby for trips further across the city.

A good day can begin at the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, which are close to each other and easy to walk between, then continue to Wat Arun by taxi or river boat. Evenings are easiest to spend on Khaosan Road.
