It is convenient for a beach holiday with easy access to the rest of Phuket, without the crowds of the main resort strip.

Kamala Beach stretches along the bay, and Patong Beach, 3.4 km away, is livelier, with nightlife and water sports. Phuket FantaSea, also 3.4 km away, is a theme park with an evening cultural show, and the Kamala Night Market is a short ride from the villas. Further afield, the Big Buddha, a hilltop statue 11.9 km away, and Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong), one of the island's best-known temples at 11.2 km, make good half-day trips.

Getting around usually means a taxi, a songthaew, or a rented car or scooter, since the sights are spread across the island. Phuket International Airport, 20.6 km away, is reached by road. A day could start with Wat Chalong in the morning, then the Big Buddha and a late afternoon at Patong Beach, where the beach road stays busy into the evening.
