My space69 is on Phetkasem Road in the Bang Khae district of Bangkok's South Thonburi area, a large residential part of the city on the west side. Phetkasem Road is one of the main routes running southwest out of Bangkok, and the streets around it are lined with local markets, shophouses and neighbourhood temples. Away from the busy tourist districts, the area is a working Bangkok neighbourhood where local life goes on at its own pace.

The ChaoSua 69 market is 50 m away, a handy place for everyday shopping, and Wat Thong Niam pagoda is a short distance along the road. The Big C Extra Phetkasem 2 store is also in the area, so everyday errands are easy to cover. For trips into the city, Lak Song MRT Station is 3.9 km away, and Don Mueang International Airport, the nearest airport, is 34.7 km away.

A full day could start at the Grand Palace, 13.6 km away in the old city, and take in Wat Arun on the Chao Phraya riverside and Khaosan Road, the well-known backpacker street.
