It is a practical base for travellers who want a calmer district rather than the busy riverside sights.

Big C Extra Phetkasem 2, a large supermarket, is 1.2 km away, and Lak Song MRT Station is 5.7 km away for trips into the city. The main sights are further off: Wat Arun, the riverside temple with its tall spire, is 14.9 km away, and the Grand Palace is 15.3 km away. A car or taxi is the easiest way to reach the central temples from here. The pagoda of Wat Udom Rangsi is the closest landmark, within walking distance of the property.

Guests who drive can use the free parking on site. A day out can start at Thawee Wanarom Park or Paradise Water Park, both within a short drive of the property, and Suvarnabhumi Airport is 42.5 km away for flights. Thawee Wanarom Park and Paradise Water Park are the more relaxed choices for a half day, while the Grand Palace is the main sight for visitors who want to see the city's historic core.
