Wat Plai Laem, on the headland, is known for its large Guanyin statue overlooking the sea, and the Big Buddha, 2.1 km away, is one of the island's best-known temples. Fisherman's Village, 5.1 km away in Bophut, is a walking street of cafés and shops, while Chaweng Noi Beach, 8.7 km away, is a quieter beach beside Chaweng. Samui Airport is 4.5 km away.

A good day can start with a swim from the property's private beach, followed by Wat Plai Laem and the Big Buddha in the morning and an evening at Fisherman's Village. The Na Muang Waterfall and the Hin Ta and Hin Yai rocks are further away across the island, so they make a full day trip rather than a stop on the way. Walks along the bay, swims from the beach and a slow afternoon by the pool make up most days here.
