Muaan Resort

The rooms at Muaan Resort include 24 m² doubles and twins with nature views, a 32 m² bungalow, and two 34 m² rooms with a queen bed and a sofa bed. A family bungalow sleeps up to four guests, with two single beds and a king bed.

Across the property, rooms can have blackout curtains, a refrigerator, a coffee or tea maker, and a balcony or terrace. Air conditioning and private bathrooms with a shower and toiletries are found in several of the rooms.

Muaan Resort is in Tambon Phihan Daeng, in the Muaeng Suphanburi District of Suphan Buri, a provincial town in central Thailand. Pagodas, museums and parks are spread around the town, so temples and local history are close at hand, and the resort's own garden gives a green setting after a day out. The surroundings are a mix of town streets, green space and temple grounds, so the stay is as much about the garden as about the sights.

Wat Phihan Daeng, a pagoda 2.3 km from the resort, is the nearest temple, and Wat Pranon, another pagoda, is a little further on. The Dragon Descendants Museum is 3.2 km away, and the Suphanburi National Museum, which covers the province's history, is 4.4 km away. Chalerm Pathara Rachinee Park, a town park, is also nearby, and the museums of the town offer a look at the area's culture, with the pagodas showing the Buddhist temple architecture common in central Thailand.

A day could start with a visit to the pagodas and then the museums, with the afternoon spent in the garden back at the resort. Pho Phraya Market, 5 km away, is a local market to explore. Free parking at the resort makes a car a practical way to reach the sights, which are all within a few kilometres, and the garden, the outdoor recreational features and the coffee shop make a relaxed end to the day.
