Rooms at MRK Resort and Massage measure between 20 m² and 50 m², and their windows look onto a courtyard, a garden, the swimming pool or the surrounding nature. Several rooms have air conditioning and flat-screen TVs, and some bathrooms have a walk-in shower, so the comfort varies a little from one room to another.

A 50 m² room overlooks the pool and sleeps up to four guests, and a 30 m² cottage has a nature view and also sleeps up to four. Three rooms of 20 m² each sleep up to three guests, with courtyard or garden views, so the view you get depends on the room you book.

The spa offers massage, body scrub, foot bath, sauna, steam room and a salon, with traditional Thai massage and aromatherapy sessions on the menu.

Outdoors there is an outdoor swimming pool, a children's swimming pool, a garden and a terrace. Restaurants, a snack bar, room service and food delivery are available, and breakfast can be taken in the room or as a takeaway, with a la carte and Asian dishes on the menu.

The 24-hour front desk, concierge, luggage storage, laundry service and laundromat are on hand, and tours, an airport transfer, a shuttle service and a taxi service are offered. A doctor or nurse is on call, and dry cleaning and ironing are available.

MRK Resort and Massage is on Pra Piya Road in Lopburi, a provincial town in central Thailand with a long history, including its role as a royal city in the 17th century. Lopburi's main sights are within a few kilometres of the resort, so a day of sightseeing can end back at the spa. The resort's spa, garden and outdoor pool make a good counterpoint to a day of sightseeing.

Nearby, Suan Chaloem Phra Kian Ti Phrabatsomdetphrachaoyuhua is a public park 1.6 km away, and the King Narai the Great Monument, 1.7 km away, honours the king who made Lopburi a second capital. The Lopburi Bus Terminal, 1.9 km away, connects the town with other provinces, and Lopburi Zoo is 2.1 km away. The Khmer ruins of Phra Prang Sam Yot, in the old town, are where long-tailed macaques roam through the ruins.

A good day out combines the monuments in the old town with a late afternoon back at the resort. The nearer sights can be reached on foot or by taxi, while the more distant ones are easier to reach by taxi or songthaew. Guests who prefer to stay put can use the spa, the garden and the outdoor pool instead.
