A day could begin at Ao Yon Beach, which is 50 m away, followed by a visit to the waterfall and an afternoon at Wat Chalong, with the Big Buddha as a further stop nearby. The island is linked to the mainland by bridge, so Phuket International Airport is the arrival point and the last stretch is by road.
