Moonstone Studio

Moonstone Studio's rooms range from 26 m² to 64 m², and they include studios, apartments and The Villa, a 64 m² room. King, queen and double beds appear across the rooms, and some have a sofa bed as well. Several rooms have a sea view, and air conditioning is available in some rooms.

Several rooms have a private bathroom with a walk-in shower, and rooms can have a fridge, a desk, a seating area and a balcony or terrace, depending on the room.

Moonstone Studio has an outdoor swimming pool, a hot tub, a garden and a massage service. A poolside bar, a bar and room service cover drinks and food, and bicycles are available for getting around. Guests can also go canoeing, diving or snorkelling, and tours can be arranged.

Practical services include daily housekeeping, laundry service, luggage storage and a concierge. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and the kitchen, shared kitchen and BBQ facilities make self-catering possible, with grocery and food delivery as well. A shuttle service and a terrace are also on site, so guests can spend most of their day at the property if they wish, with the pool and the bar close by.

Moonstone Studio is on Haad Rin, a lively beach village at the southern tip of Ko Pha-ngan, where the streets are busy with bars, cafés and small shops. The beach is a short walk from the bars and guesthouses, and the village has been a backpacker base for many years. It is the place for travellers who want the beach and the evening life close at hand, rather than a quieter bay, and the nights there are busy with music and people on the beach.

Haad Rin Nai beach is the closest, 350 m from the property, and the Haad Rin Queen ferry terminal is a short walk away for boats to and from the island. Ko Pha-ngan has no airport, so arrivals by air land at Samui Airport (USM) on Ko Samui, 14.8 km away across the strait, and continue by boat.

For a day further afield, Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach is 9.7 km away and Ao Chaloklum Bay is 13.7 km, both reached by road. Those bays are a longer trip from the village than the beaches on Haad Rin. Back in Haad Rin, the beach is the focus of the evenings, and the Full Moon Party, held on the beach each month, is the village's best-known event.
