Moon Dance Hostel

All the rooms at Moon Dance Hostel are mixed dormitories with single or bunk beds, and each room sleeps one guest. The beds range from a single bed to rooms with eight, ten or sixteen bunk beds.

Dormitory rooms can have air conditioning, lockers, showers and shared bathrooms, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. The rooms suit solo travellers who want a bed close to the centre of the island's beach nightlife.

Moon Dance Hostel offers a 24-hour front desk, a massage service and restaurant facilities, along with a vending machine. Free parking is available on site, and internet services are offered along with Wi-Fi in the public areas.

Lockers and safety deposit boxes are available for guests, the public areas have air conditioning, and English and Thai are spoken at the property.

Check-in starts at 14:00 and check-out is until 12:00 at Moon Dance Hostel, and the front desk is staffed around the clock.

Haad Rin is the beach village at the southern end of Ko Pha-ngan, best known for its nightlife, with bars, dive shops and street-food stalls along the streets near the sand. The Full Moon Party is held on this beach every month, and the village gets busy on those nights. The village is small enough to explore on foot, with the beach, the bars and the pier all close together.

Haad Rin Nok beach is 450 m from the hostel, and the Haad Rin Queen ferry pier is 200 m away, where boats arrive and depart. Ko Pha-ngan has no airport of its own: the nearest is Samui Airport on the neighbouring island of Ko Samui, 14.1 km away, and you reach Ko Pha-ngan from there by boat. Haad Rin Nai beach lies in the same bay, and the village streets are where most of the bars and restaurants are.

For a day away from the village, Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach, 10.3 km away, makes a good outing, and Ao Chaloklum Bay, 14.4 km away, is a second choice for a day out. Full moon nights are the liveliest time in the village, while quieter evenings are easy to find on the beaches further from Haad Rin.
