The rooms at Moon Cottage Villa are air-conditioned and have private patios, with outdoor private hot tubs, LED televisions, safes and desks. Housekeeping is provided on request.

Cable programming is also available for entertainment, and the rooms come with a private patio in each case. The rooms measure 25 to 40 m², and two of them have a kitchenette.

Choeng Mon is a village area on Koh Samui, with a beach, a fish market and several temples within a few kilometres of the property. Choeng Mon Beach is the closest beach to the property, at 1.2 km. The Bangrak area nearby has a ferry terminal, and the rest of the island is reachable by road, so the main sights are close enough for day trips.

Wat Plai Laem, a temple known for its large Guan Yin statue, is 1.9 km away, and the Big Buddha, a large seated Buddha statue at a temple, is 2.6 km away. Samui Airport is 3.1 km away and sits on the island itself, so arrivals by air do not need a boat for the last leg. Bangrak Pier, the ferry terminal, is also nearby, and the Samui Crocodile Farm is a zoo with crocodiles and other animals a short distance away.

A good day could start at Choeng Mon Beach and continue with the Big Buddha and Wat Plai Laem in the afternoon. The Bangrak beach fish market is also close by, and the Samui Crocodile Farm offers a different kind of outing for a few hours. Guests who have a car can use the free self parking on site to reach the temples and beaches of the island.
