All the rooms at Mook tawan Beach house have air conditioning and are set up for up to two guests. Two rooms have a sea view, one has a garden view, and the King Room with Balcony has a balcony. King beds are offered in several rooms, and one room has a choice of bed set-ups.

Private bathrooms come with a shower, toiletries and towels, and the rooms with bathrooms also have an electric kettle, cleaning products and linens. Some rooms have a coffee and tea maker and a socket near the bed, and a hair dryer is provided in the bathrooms.

Koh Mook is an island off the coast of Trang province on Thailand's Andaman coast, and the hotel sits on it, a short walk from the sand of Ko Muk Beach and close to the village of Ban Koh Muk. Life here runs at the pace of the sea, and the beaches, the village and the pier form the everyday geography of the island. The sea is never far from the rooms.

Farang Beach lies 1.9 km away along the coast, and the ferry terminal on Ko Muk is 850 m from the hotel, so the boat connection is close at hand. Emerald Cave, 2.6 km away, is one of the island's best-known sights and is reached by boat. Trang Airport is 37.4 km away on the mainland, and the final leg of the trip to the island is by boat.

A good day starts with a walk to Farang Beach or to the snorkelling spots that lie close to the shore, followed by a boat trip to Emerald Cave in the afternoon. The shuttle service runs to the island's beaches, so one of them can be reached without a long walk. In the rainy months the sea can be rougher, and boat trips are sometimes cancelled.
