Monument Stay

The rooms at Monument Stay range from single capsule beds and dormitory-style spaces to family rooms and suites with a living area. Several have air conditioning and a private bathroom with a shower, a hair dryer and toiletries, and a few have a balcony or terrace. The Family Room with Living Area has a city view.

Beds include capsule and single beds, king beds in the suites, and a king bed with a bunk bed in the family rooms. The 1 Bed Room Suite with Living area and the Family Room with Living Area each measure 35 m², and the Family Suite with Living Room accommodates up to five guests.

Monument Stay has a 24-hour front desk and 24-hour security, with a laptop workspace for guests who need to work. Free WiFi is available in all rooms, and the property has on-site parking.

The property also has a terrace and a snack bar. Rooms can have a desk, a sofa, a separate dining area, a coffee or tea maker, a refrigerator, a balcony or terrace and ironing facilities.

Rooms can also have bathrobes, a hair dryer, toiletries and towels, and guests can use the business areas free of charge. The front desk is staffed around the clock, and the security team is on duty 24 hours a day as well.

It is a practical base for travellers who want to be close to the city's rail links rather than to the old riverside temples, which lie further away.

Victory Monument, the landmark of the district, is about 150 m away, and its BTS station links the area to the rest of the skytrain network. Jim Thompson House, a teak house museum that displays Thai silk and art, is 1.8 km away, and Siam Paragon, one of the largest shopping malls in the city, is nearby. Suan Pakkad Palace, a palace museum set among gardens, is a short walk from the hotel, and the Chatuchak Weekend Market is 4.3 km away for those visiting on a weekend.

The Grand Palace is 5.2 km away, and Wat Arun on the river is a little further, so a taxi is the simplest way to cover a day of temples. Khaosan Road, the backpacker street, is 4.4 km away and makes a lively evening once the sightseeing is done.
